Layover Tours are perfect private tours for travellers who do not want to wait around in airport lounges for hours for their next flight, or are looking for an excursion from their cruise terminal.

Let us guide you to either Central London, to see iconic sights of a City that is so rich in 2000 years of history. We cover architecture, Royals, markets, churches, Parliament & even graffiti.

Or tour Windsor, with its magnificent Royal Castle, home to the British Monarchy, on the idyllic banks of the River Thames for a 1000 years. Or visit Stonehenge, to see the ancient monument & education centre.

These tours are all delivered by fully qualified Tour Guides in a new London Black Taxi with air con, panoramic roof & 6 seats.
We can customise your private tour to match your interests & maximise precise times, before making it back to the airport or cruise terminal for your next adventure.

Tours are bespoke & take a minimum of 5 hours & are priced individually.

Additional Travel Time – Airport Transfers

For journeys to and from Gatwick Airport, please allow a minimum additional 3 hours when travelling between Central London and Stonehenge, and 2 additional hours when travelling to Windsor.

For journeys to and from Heathrow Airport, please allow a minimum additional 2 hours when travelling between Central London and Stonehenge, and approximately 20 minutes additional travel time for Windsor.

Central London Panoramic Tour

Enjoy a pit-stop tour through Central London, stopping at iconic landmarks for photographs, history and commentary. Some locations are viewed by vehicle, others on foot.

We aim to include: Buckingham Palace, The Mall, St James’s Park, Horse Guards Parade, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, four London bridges including Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, the historic City of London, St Paul’s Cathedral, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus and Harrods.

Windsor

A short 20-minute drive from Central London brings us to Windsor. Guests may pre-book tickets to visit the interior of Windsor Castle — the oldest inhabited castle in the world — including St George’s Chapel (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays).

Alternatively, enjoy a riverside pub stop on the Thames, visit the Magna Carta Memorial and JFK Memorial, and take in the impressive Long Walk leading to the Castle.

Stonehenge

Visit the ancient monument of Stonehenge and explore over 5,000 years of human history. The experience includes the educational visitor centre and museum, followed by a short on-site shuttle transfer to walk around the stones themselves.

Facilities include a gift shop and cafeteria.

Order of tour may vary dependent on pick up location.

Tours typically conclude at your original pick-up location; however, we are happy to drop you at another central London address if preferred.
