What is your cancellation policy?
We offer a full refund minus a 5% administration fee if cancelled at least 24 hours before the tour begins.
How do I cancel or amend my booking?
Please contact us via our website or email and we will arrange the cancellation or amendment for you.
Are your drivers fully licensed and qualified tour guides?
Yes, all tours are conducted by fully licensed London Taxi Drivers, many of whom hold additional recognised tour guide qualifications.
Are your vehicles wheelchair accessible?
Yes, our London Black Cabs are wheelchair accessible and equipped with entry ramps.
Can infants and young children travel in the taxi?
Yes, infants and children under three may travel without a car seat in the rear in accordance with UK regulations.
Do you provide child or booster seats?
Child and booster seats can be provided upon request with advance notice.
What happens if our group is larger than one vehicle can accommodate?
We can arrange additional licensed vehicles for larger groups, subject to availability and additional cost.
Are your tours private or shared?
All Barry Tours are 100% private. You and your group have exclusive use of the vehicle and guide, allowing the tour to be fully tailored to your interests, pace, and schedule.
Where do tours start and end?
Tours can begin and end at your hotel, accommodation, airport, or a central London location by prior arrangement. Pickup details are confirmed in advance to ensure a smooth start to your experience.
Can tours be customised?
Yes. Every tour can be customised on request. If a listed itinerary does not include something you would like to see, simply let us know and we will adapt the route to suit your preferences.
How long are the tours?
Tour durations vary depending on the itinerary, ranging from approximately 3 hours to full-day experiences of up to 10 hours. Exact timings are shown on each tour page.
Are airport or cruise terminal transfers available?
Yes, airport and cruise terminal transfers can be arranged upon request and may incur additional charges.
Are meals or refreshments included in the tour price?
For our tours of 4 hours or less there will only be opportunities to grab refreshments quickly whilst on the go. For our tours over 4 hours, we will arrange a lunch stop for you or an afternoon tea. We have restaurants & pubs that we recommend.
Is the cost of refreshments included in the tour?
Please note that the cost of refreshments, lunch or afternoon tea are not included in the tour price & are to be paid for separately by the customer.
Will we be able to go inside attractions during the tour?
Entry into attractions is possible where time allows, with tickets purchased separately at additional cost.
Do you provide bottled water or refreshments on board?
Complimentary bottled water is available on board all tours.
How long does it take to receive a refund after cancellation?
Refunds are typically processed within 10 business days to your original method of payment.
May you use photos taken during the tour for marketing purposes?
We may use selected photographs for marketing purposes unless you request otherwise during the tour.
How many people can join the tour?
Tours are conducted in a modern London black taxi, comfortably accommodating up to 6 passengers. Larger groups can be arranged using multiple vehicles.
Are entrance tickets included in the tour price?
Unless stated otherwise, entrance fees are not included. This allows flexibility in case guests prefer not to enter certain attractions. Your guide will advise on ticket options and timings during the tour.
What happens if it rains or the weather is poor?
Tours operate rain or shine. London black taxis provide a comfortable, covered environment, and itineraries can be adjusted if needed to ensure an enjoyable experience in all weather conditions.
Will there be photo oppurtunities in my tour?
Definitely! You will have lots of opportunities to take your own photographs & our Guides will also take photographs of your group & send them to you within 48 hours. We may use some of these for our website or social media please let your Guide know if you do not want to appear.
