Private Cotswolds And Blenheim Palace Tour

10 Hours

Up to 6 People

Private. Personal. Completely Yours.

Sit back & relax as we tour England’s beautiful countryside away from the hubbub of London.

We visit & stop to admire many Cotswold Villages, towns & quiet hamlets, admiring the beautiful architecture, landscape, rivers, shops, galleries & churches on route.

You can visit tea rooms & have lunch in the oldest Public Inn in England “The Porch House”, c900AD.
We also visit magnificent Blenheim Palace just outside Oxford.

The Palace was a gift to the Duke of Marlborough by Queen Anne for defeating the French at The Battle of Blenheim.
It boasts grandeur from the moment you enter the gates, into the courtyard of this Baroque architectural masterpiece.
You will see the Duke’s living quarters, including the room where Sir Winston Churchill was born, an astonishing library complete with organ and formal gardens too.

Blenheim Palace

Experience what Queen Victoria described as “the most magnificent palace in England.” This extraordinary Baroque masterpiece, built from stone sourced from 11 local quarries, reflects the wealth and power of the 18th-century British Empire.

Explore the State Rooms, including the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, the magnificent Long Library with its grand organ, the private chapel of the Duke of Marlborough and the award-winning Churchill Exhibition. Conclude in the formal gardens with sweeping views across the estate.

Woodstock

Discover the historic town of Woodstock, nestled beside Blenheim Palace on the edge of the Cotswolds. A medieval ‘new town’ with over 900 years of hospitality, its elegant Georgian façades conceal far older buildings housing charming hotels, cafés, boutiques and galleries.

Stow-on-the-Wold

Visit the beautiful North Cotswolds market town centred around its historic square and picturesque lanes. Enjoy a traditional English pub lunch in one of the country’s oldest inns, dating back to 962 AD.

Upper & Lower Slaughter

These twin Cotswold villages sit peacefully along the River Eye and are connected by a scenic riverside path. Admire honey-coloured stone cottages, flower-lined lanes and the romantic Copse Hill Road. A popular filming location, including the 2020 adaptation of Emma.

Bourton-on-the-Water

Known as the “Venice of the Cotswolds,” this charming village sits along the River Windrush with its series of low arched stone bridges. Explore boutique shops and capture stunning photographs of its vibrant High Street.

Burford

Often called the “Gateway to the Cotswolds,” Burford is your introduction to the region’s charm. Wander its historic High Street, browse independent shops and tea rooms, and visit the impressive St John the Baptist Church — regarded among the finest parish churches in England.
