We visit Highclere Castle, grounds & gardens, home of Lord & Lady Grantham, Lady Mary & the Dowager.

We then tour the beautiful Cotswold villages & countryside that Downton Abbey brought to our screens in both TV & film & is a truly remarkable place.
We stop at shops, churches, market squares, thatched cottages, village halls, cricket greens & rose gardens.
Lunch can be taken in an Old English Pub where you can relax, eating perhaps fish n chips or some local ales?
Or we can take you to a very English Garden tea shop … the choice is both yours & endless!
The afternoon is then spent driving through more countryside & villages, chauffeured by your very own ‘Branson’, before returning to your own place of residence whilst listening to music of your choice.
Burford – Gateway to the Cotswolds
Enjoy the outstanding natural beauty of the Cotswolds beginning in Burford. Stroll along its historic High Street, lined with charming boutiques, galleries and tea rooms, before reaching the magnificent St John the Baptist Church, regarded among the finest parish churches in England.
Swinbrook
Visit the romantic Cotswold village of Swinbrook, famed as the elopement location of Tom Branson and Lady Sybil in Downton Abbey. Enjoy time at the traditional village pub and gardens for an ale, wine or coffee.
Shilton
Explore the picturesque hamlet of Shilton, a filming location featured in Downton Abbey. With its ford, stone cottages and classic Cotswold architecture, it offers a quintessential English countryside setting.
Bampton
Walk through the charming village of Bampton, recognised as the principal filming location for Downton village. Visit St Mary’s Church, the Crawley family home exterior and the village green featured throughout the series.
Highclere Castle
If you have purchased tickets, spend 2–3 hours exploring Highclere Castle, the real-life home of Lord and Lady Carnarvon. Tour the grand interiors and estate grounds used as the setting for Downton Abbey.
Tickets must be purchased directly via the Highclere Castle website in advance.
Order of tour may vary dependent on pick up location.
Where can I be picked up from?
We offer collection from any central London hotel, private accommodation, or location within a 3.5-mile radius of Trafalgar Square.
Pick-ups from Heathrow or Gatwick airports, as well as Southampton or Tilbury cruise terminals, can also be arranged, though additional charges may apply.
Where can I be dropped off after my tour?
Tours typically conclude at your original pick-up location; however, we are happy to drop you at another central London address if preferred.
Airport and cruise terminal drop-offs can also be arranged for an additional fee.
